Welcome to Oxford Backgammon.

No matter what level you play at, from beginner to expert, you'll find a warm welcome and the opportunity to play this great game.

Launched in September 2024, we currently play fortnightly on Mondays upstairs at the

Slow and Steady, 38 Abingdon Road, OX1 4PD

Whilst the group is getting established we mostly offer social play and, for those that are interested, there may also be a chouette. We welcome new players and are very happy to provide instruction and assistance.

For those keen to play competitively we expect to organise some small tournaments and possibly a league structure during the course of the next year.

Whatever level you're at feel free to drop in either to play or even just to watch or have a chat.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
